Special Operations Forces drones struck a powerful production and dispatching station of a large oil pipeline in the Kirov region, as well as an oil depot in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation on Sunday night.

Details: Located almost 1,200 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, the Lazarevo oil and gas terminal in the Kirov region is a key point on the Surgut-Polotsk oil pipeline. This artery transports oil from Siberia and the north of the Russian Federation to the Baltic ports of Primorsk, Ust-Luga, and Belarus.

The station also connects to the Druzhba main pipeline system, allowing the enemy to quickly pump oil between the two largest oil pipelines in the European part of the Russian Federation.

In another series of strikes, long-range drones from the SSR's Deep-strike units also hit the Agroproduct oil depot in the town of Matveyev Kurgan, Rostov Oblast. The depot, which is located almost directly next to the border with Ukraine, houses large tanks, a truck and rail loading terminal, and a loading station.

Literally: "Destroying the enemy's oil refining and logistics infrastructure reduces its economic capabilities to wage war against Ukraine."

What preceded it: Local authorities and the public reported that in the Kirov region of Russia, drones attacked the Lazarevo linear production and dispatching station, which was created for the transit of oil to the central part of the Russian Federation.
