Air Delivered event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Salarzai, Bajaur District area, Pakistan on Tue 26th May 2026

Gunship helicopter shelling and heavy firing was reported throughout the day in Salarzai tehsil (revenue unit) of Bajaur District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on May 26, reports The Khorasan Diary. Officials and channels monitored by The Khorasan Diary, have provided different accounts in the corresponding areas of Inam Khoro, Chenagai and Mani Sha areas with extensive sounds of firing. The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) on the other hand claimed that two people were affiliated with a local peace militia were killed in an attack. However; security officials also claimed to have targeted multiple hideouts. The state of damages and casualties were not immediately clear, independent confirmation was not possible due to restricted communication and movement in the area.
