On May 25, seven people were injured in a clash between Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) leaders and activists over the distribution of Vulnerable Group Feeding (VGF) cards in front of the Alampur Union Parishad (UP) office in Kushtia District, reports prothomalo.com. Among the injured were Islami Chhatra Shibir's (ICS of JeI) Khetlal Upazila President Mohammad Ali (25) and Alampur Union Ward No. 9 BNP President Jewel Fakir (45). The others injured were Raju (25), Masud (37), Chabbir Hossain (18), Shihab (18) and Abu Kashem (47).
