Elements of the Mexican Army, National Guard, and Attorney General's Office carried out a raid against organized crime in Tapachula, Chiapas, this Tuesday. The operation neutralized a key logistics center on the southern border. The total seizure included 687 kilograms of cocaine, 151 firearms of various calibers and types, 18 grenades, and 363 magazines. Our reporter in the area confirmed the deployment of armored vehicles guarding the perimeter of the property. The head of the Federal Security Secretariat, Omar García Harfuch, confirmed the scale of the operation. Federal forces are maintaining control of the scene while the corresponding investigations are being conducted.
