At around 11:00 AM on May 24, the terrorist military used a jet fighter to drop two 500-pound bombs on Kyauk Shat village in Dawei Township despite the absence of any ongoing clashes. Although no civilians were harmed during the airstrike, a civilian-owned betel nut plantation was damaged and destroyed.
