BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Deputies serving a search warrant in Potlatch, Idaho, discovered what appears to be a small homemade explosive device on Friday, prompting a response from the Spokane Bomb Squad.

The device was found on May 22 in the 400 block of Sixth Street. Authorities said the Spokane Bomb Squad responded to neutralize the device.

Officials said there is no threat to surrounding residences or the schools.
