Projectile event in Chernihiv, Lukniv area, Ukraine on Wed 27th May 2026

On the morning of May 27, the Russian army attacked two farms in the Koropska community in the Chernihiv region . A woman died as a result of the strikes, and a man was hospitalized in serious condition.

This was reported by the head of the Novgorod-Siverskaya Regional Administrative District, Alexander Seliverstov, on his Facebook page.

"On May 27, between 8:10 and 8:15, the enemy struck the village of Lukniv, Koropska hromada. The type of weapon used is currently being established. As a result of the shelling, the premises of local enterprises were destroyed - a pig farm and a cattle farm. The attack claimed the life of a person - a pig farm employee born in 1976 died. In addition, a tractor driver of the enterprise, born in 1986, suffered serious head injuries. Currently, the victim is being transported in serious condition to the Chernihiv Regional Hospital for emergency medical care," the report says.
