On 18 May 2026, Russian forces massively shelled with BM-30 (Smerch) MLRS the residential area in Kramatorsk city, Donetsk. 1 civilian woman was killed and 3 more civilians injured. 1 apartment building and 22 private houses, a workshop, and five civilian cars were damaged. In another event, a Russian FPV-kamikaze-drone struck the national flag on the flagpole in Yubileinyi Park in Kramatorsk. The flag canvas was damaged, however, it was replaced within an hour.
