At least 66 Taliban militants were killed in an airstrike in Herat Province of Afghanistan on July 31, reports Bakhtar News Agency. Fawad Aman, Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of National Defense, said, the airstrikes targeted Taliban strongholds in the Rizshak area Injil District and the Pul-e-Malan area in the provincial capital, killing 66 Taliban militants and injuring 13 others. The airstrikes also destroyed one vehicle, some Taliban weapons and ammunition.
