On 16 May 2026, in Ping Hsar village (Hseni township, Lashio district, Shan-North state), a remnant exploded in a farm at around 8 am after children were playing with it. 4 civilians (a 41-year-old man, a 42-year-old woman, a 10-year-old girl, and a 7-year-old girl) sustained injuries. One of them, the 10-year-old girl, sustained severe injuries and had to have one of her legs amputated.
