A car explosion occurred in the Primorsky district of Odessa on the evening of May 23, injuring two people inside. The SBU is investigating the incident as a terrorist attack.

Details : As the police said, a report of an explosion in a Volkswagen car on Universytetska Street was received by hotline 102 late in the evening of May 23.
According to preliminary information from law enforcement officers, two people who were in the vehicle's cabin were injured as a result of the explosion. They are receiving necessary medical assistance.
On May 24, the SBU department reported that the Security Service qualifies the car explosion in the Primorsky district of Odessa as a terrorist act and has already opened a corresponding criminal case under Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act).
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) together with the National Police are conducting comprehensive measures to establish all the circumstances of the incident and the persons involved in its commission.
