State and Municipal Police officers arrested two suspected robbers in San Andrés Ahuatelco. Sources in the area indicated that the suspects were actively operating along sections of the Siglo XXI highway, intercepting cargo trucks and private vehicles at gunpoint. The deployment on the ground disrupted the activities of this criminal cell, which was impacting the region's commercial connectivity. One of those arrested is a 15-year-old minor, part of the local recruitment network that supplies robbery rings operating on state highways. The officers seized: - 2 firearms - Live ammunition. Both suspects were taken into custody and turned over to the Public Prosecutor's Office to face legal proceedings.
