At least 18 terrorists were killed, including a high-profile ‘commander’, during an armed clash between two rival groups in the Manatu Kamran Khel area of Kurram District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on May 20, reports The Express Tribune. According to Police, the violent confrontation took place in the Manatu Kamran Khel area, where gunmen loyal to terrorist ‘commanders’ Kazim and Mumtaz Imti engaged in heavy fighting. The clash resulted in the death of ‘commander’ Mumtaz Imti, along with 17 other terrorists. Following the ceasefire, local tribesmen buried their dead bodies.
