One civilian, identified as Shahjahan Kurd, was killed when unidentified assailants opened fire near Shahwani Stadium on Sariab Road in Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan, on May 20, reports Zrumbesh. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The attackers fled immediately following the shooting. No group has claimed responsibility for the killing so far.
