Unidentified armed persons, suspected to be Baloch insurgents, set fire to an Ufone telecommunications tower, in the Kundi area of Barkhan District in Balochistan on May 18, reports Zrumbesh. The attackers also disabled the surveillance cameras installed on the tower during the assault. No casualties have been reported in connection with the Barkhan attack at the time of publication. No armed group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
