SAA event in Balochistan, Noshki District area, Pakistan on Sat 16th May 2026

On May 16, unidentified armed militants blocked the RCD Highway in Noshki District of Balochistan Province, reports Zrumbesh English. According to reports, the militants conducted snap checking of passing vehicles before clashing with a convoy of Pakistani Security Forces (SFs) that arrived at the scene. Casualties were reported in the exchange of fire, though exact figures were not available at the time of reporting. During the operation, the militants allegedly detained four individuals from Sindh who were reportedly employed at the Saindak Copper-Gold Project. Their whereabouts and condition remained unknown. No outfit claimed responsibility for the incident at the time of reporting.
