On May 15, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for an attack on Security Force (SF) checkpoints in Mastung District of Balochistan Province, according to a statement issued by BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch, reports The Balochistan Post. The statement noted that BLA cadres targeted multiple SF checkpoints in Mastung District on May 9. However, the outfit did not provide details regarding casualties or damage caused in the attack. No official confirmation from Pakistani authorities was available at the time of reporting.
