On May 15, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for destroying a bridge in the Sheikh Wasil area of Mastung District in Balochistan Province, according to a statement issued by BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, reports Zrumbesh English. The outfit stated that its cadres planted explosives beneath the bridge on the Quetta-Taftan Highway, causing complete destruction of the structure and disrupting traffic movement. The BLA claimed the attack was aimed at disrupting Pakistani Forces’ supply lines. No casualties were reported in the incident.
