During a police operation to arrest a 23-year-old wanted man, he and a 28-year-old man attempted to flee by vehicle and rammed a police patrol vehicle. The 28-year-old man pointed a pistol at police officers, and officers fired during the intervention, injuring the 23-year-old man. The pistol was seized, the 28-year-old man was arrested, and the injured 23-year-old man was taken to the hospital under arrest. The 23-year-old man had been sentenced abroad for attempted murder.
