In the village of La Florida, municipality of San Francisco, Antioquia, troops from the GaulaMilitares Oriente of the CuartaBrigada, along with the FuerzaAereaCol, Policiantioquia, and the CTI of the FiscaliaCol, raided a property used by the Clan del Golfo cartel for illicit activities. During the operation, three alleged members of this criminal organization were captured, including alias Mono Chucho, identified as the area leader. Weapons, communication radios, military supplies, vehicles, motorcycles, narcotics, chemical precursors for cocaine processing, and a marijuana plantation of approximately one hectare were seized at the site. Authorities also found items hidden in buried containers, used to strengthen the criminal capabilities of this illegal organization in eastern Antioquia.
