70 Taliban militants were killed in Kandahar Province on July 10, reports Bakhtar News Agency. Jamal Naser Barakzai, spokesman for the Kandahar Police Command, told that the Taliban were killed in a clearing operation by Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched with support of the air force in Dand District and the 7th District of the Province. He added that eight other militants were wounded and a number of their weapons were destroyed during the operation.
