SAA event in Vereda Orobugo Alto, Colombia on Wed 20th May 2026

In the rural area of ​​Urrao, Antioquia, troops from the 11th Light Infantry Battalion "Cacique Nutibara" of the FourthBrigade, in coordination with the Antioquia Police, captured three alleged members of the Clan del Golfo Cartel and seized approximately 1,800 rounds of ammunition, a .38 caliber revolver, a pistol, and military supplies. This operational result significantly impacts the armed and logistical capabilities of this organized armed group, contributing to the reduction of homicides, acts of violence, and other criminal activities that threaten the peace of communities in southwestern Antioquia.
