The seizure of 109 improvised explosive devices in Badiraguato and high-powered weaponry in Ahome has triggered alerts in Sinaloa following coordinated federal operations. Military intelligence and ministerial investigations dismantled this arsenal in an environment of high confrontation where organized crime networks challenge public order and regional stability, revealing the persistent control of illicit assets and territorial disputes in the mountainous region. The national security intervention included the arrest of an individual on the Navojoa–Los Mochis highway with handguns, rifles, cartridges, and magazines integrated into a vehicle, while in Chimalhuacán, Guanajuato, and Veracruz, fourteen additional arrests linked to criminal cells were reported.
