In the Guaico village, a rural area of Briceño, Antioquia, troops from the 4th Field Artillery Battalion of the Fourth Brigade located an illegal cache containing explosives, allegedly belonging to the GAO-r Structure 36, which they intended to use to attack our troops and the civilian population. During the operation, four improvised explosive devices, communication radios, batteries, and switches used for their activation were found. With this action, we have thwarted another criminal activity by this illegal armed group operating in the northern part of the department.
