A military column was attacked twice in Yenangyaung Township, Magway Region, killing 10 soldiers, Ko San Shar, the person in charge of the Yenangyaung Township People's Defense Force, told Khit Thit Media.

On May 10, a terrorist military column entered via the Gway Kone-Wetchoke-Natmauk road in Yenangyaung Township. On May 11 at around 2:00 PM, as they arrived near Alal Kone village in the Magyee Kan village tract, People's Defense Force members attacked and crushed them. The exchange of fire lasted for about an hour, and the terrorist soldiers retreated after taking heavy hits.
