A 24-year-old foreigner was detained in Kyiv for setting cars on fire on behalf of Russian special services.

Details: A 24-year-old Georgian citizen has been reported on suspicion of intentional damage to another person's property by arson.
It was established that in early March, the suspect arrived in Ukraine in search of part-time work. Through Telegram , he found a job that involved setting fire to Ukrainian Armed Forces vehicles on behalf of Russian special services. However, the man decided not to look for military vehicles, but personally pasted the Ukrainian Armed Forces symbols on civilian SUVs and then set them on fire.
Thus, in the Park of Partisan Glory, the suspect set fire to a Cherry Tiggo 2 car, and on Hryhorenko Avenue - to a Ssang Yong Rexton by throwing a flammable mixture on the hood.
The arsonist was detained in a rented apartment, and his mobile phone with evidence of correspondence with Russian special services was seized.
The suspect was given a preventive measure in the form of detention with bail set at UAH 133,000.
The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of three to ten years.
