On the night of May 16, the Russian occupation army struck critical, residential, and port infrastructure facilities in the Izmail district of the Odessa region, leaving two injured.

Details : The district administration notes that critical infrastructure and residential buildings in the city of Izmail were hit.

Verbatim from the RDA: "Unfortunately, there are victims, they are being provided with the necessary medical assistance. No serious injuries have been recorded."

Details : The report also added that due to damage to power lines, 39 settlements in the Izmail district were without power, leaving 22,662 subscribers without electricity.

Updated : Kiper later clarified the information about the consequences of the enemy attack on the Odessa region.

Kiper's direct speech : "This night, the enemy massively attacked the south of the Odessa region with strike drones. Residential and port infrastructure was damaged. Unfortunately, there are injuries."

Details : According to the head of the Odessa OVA, a UAV hit a 5-story residential building. The facade and glazing were damaged, balconies and a car dealership on the first floor caught fire.

In addition, a one-story residential building was damaged, in which two people were injured.

Kiper's direct speech : "The attack also damaged the port infrastructure - the warehouse and the administrative building. The glazing was broken at the facilities.

In addition, debris was recorded falling onto the territory of the educational institution."
