In Haiti, members of the "Viv Ansanm" gang opened fire on civilians in Artibonite. Armed men from the "Viv Ansanm" ("Live Together") gang, led by former police officer Jimmy Chérizier (alias "Barbecue"), attacked a batey in Artibonite, firing shots at residents. According to local reports, the assault sparked panic among civilians in the area.
