Today, May 18, at around 10:30 AM, three Gyrocopters that took off from the Northwestern Regional Military Command launched two bombing runs on the Letpanto oil field located on the border of Myaing and Pauk townships, without any ongoing clashes in the area.

No civilians were injured during the bombing, but one shop house was destroyed. However, residents are currently fleeing due to fears that the military might carry out further airstrikes.
