An armed attack in the El Palmito Industrial Park in Culiacán left a house and a warehouse riddled with bullet holes and a vehicle set ablaze after incursions using vehicles allegedly stolen to ram through gates. The government deployed security, intelligence, and asset control operations with the Mexican Army, firefighters, and ministerial agents to preserve public order and national security. The attack began at the intersection of Pastor Rovaix and Tarascos streets and continued in Toltecas, where the warehouse was damaged and set on fire. The area is known for high tension due to organized crime disputes over trafficking routes. The rule of law and transparency in the investigations are being reinforced. Our team observed forced gates, evidence of a fire, and constant patrols.
