UAV event in Ukraine on Fri 15th May 2026

On 15 May 2026, in the morning and during the day, Russian forces carried out drone strikes at the industrial, energy and residential areas in Zaporizhia city, Zaporizhia. As a result, 1 civilian was killed and 6 more received injuries (some of them workers). The administrative facilities of the regional energy company and vehicles were damaged. A fire broke out in the city, and residential buildings were also damaged. Additionally, a tank with fuel and lubricants was damaged, and a fire broke out on site. There were 117 reports about damage to infrastructure, cars and residential buildings in the Zaporizhia region, as well as 21 injured civilians (4 coded to Vilniansk, 1 in Novosolone, 1 in Tavriyske, 1 in Novomykolaivka, 1 in Orikhiv and 13 coded to Zaporizhia city).
