On 15 May 2026, at 08:55am, according to local sources, following the monitoring center's detected air threat in time, the passenger train stopped its movement its crew and began evacuation of commuters when the Russian kamikaze-drone struck the train locomotive and near the carriages in Vilniansk, Zaporizhia. As a result, 2 elderly passengers received shrapnel wounds. in another event, at 12:24pm, a Russian drone struck the transport infrastructure in Vilniansk. 2 civilians were injured and received medical assistance.
