On 15 May 2026, in the morning, two Russian kamikaze-drones struck the residential area in Butivka, Chernihiv. One drone struck the private house, slightly injuring mother and her 13-year-old daughter whom she pulled out of the rubble. 7 more houses, two shops, and the village headman's office building were damaged. Also, 1 drone was shot by Ukrainian forces.
