Around 15 May 2026 (as reported), suspected RSF fighter drone targeted members of the RSF 296, led by Ali Rizq Allah (Savannah), near Manawashi (Mershing, South Darfur), while they were withdrawing from the frontlines in Kordofan on their way to Nyala, after the defection of Savannah on 11 May (coded separately). RSF attempted to collect their arms. Many were killed and wounded. Unspecified fatalities coded as 3.
