On 12 May 2026, in Mindat town (Mindat township, Mindat district, Chin state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped bombs with fighter jets on the Mindat town and nearby areas two times at around 8 am, two times around 11 am and 5 times around 6:30 pm. 4 civilians including prisoners of war, were killed and some were injured, and around 15 houses, ten government office buildings and four vehicles were destroyed during two days of airstrikes. 4 fatalities split across two days (11 - 12 May) and coded as 2 for this event.
