On 14 May 2026, in Hakha town (Hakha township, Hakha district, Chin state), the combined troops of the Chinland Defense Force - Hakha and allies attacked the Myanmar military column from IB-266 that was advancing to meet with a column of around 500 Myanmar military soldiers that advanced from Falam town. They were attacked with bombs attached to drones and heavy weapons near the 6-road junction around 10:20 am. Shwe Phee Myay reported that 3 military soldiers were killed and many military soldiers including a tactical commander, were injured. Myanmar Pressphoto Agency, Narinjara News, Khit Thit Media, Khonumthung News and The Voice of Chinland - VOC reported that 4 military soldiers were killed and 8 military soldiers including a tactical commander, were injured. Fatalities coded as 3, using the lowest estimate.
