On 13 May 2026, around 3:30AM local time, suspected Iranian forces (coded as IRGC by default), attacked Indian cargo ship MSV Haji Ali (MMSI: 419956884) with a drone or missile-like projectile and sank after catching fire in Omani waters off the Coast of Limah (Khasab, Musandam). There were no casualties. All 14 Indian nationals on board were safely rescued by Oman Coast Guard and transferred to Diba Port. The ship departed from Berbera Port in Somalia on 21 April carrying livestock and was heading to Sharjah (UAE). An investigation is ongoing to determine the author of the strike.
