The police were alerted to a bang in a residential area in Askim in southwest Gothenburg during the night of Tuesday.

– There has been some type of detonation and we are investigating what happened, says Alexander Sterner, officer on duty at the police.

No one was injured, but damage was caused to a building.

According to the police, it was a banger that detonated inside a business premises. The incident is classified as serious public destruction.

– There is broken glass on the property, among other things, says Alexander Sterner.

The alarm was received by the police at 11:45 p.m. on Monday.

– We have had technicians on site and are working on investigative measures.

No one has been arrested.
