On 6 May 2026, near Sa Khan Thar (aka) Chat Pye village (coded as Chat Pye) (Wetlet township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military launched three airstrikes on the village using three fighter jets coming from Tada-U Airbase at 12:14 am, 12:18 am, and 12:21 am without an armed clash occurring. 3 civilians (a 30-year-old man, a 50-year-old man, and a 48-year-old woman) were killed, and 3 others, including a 7-year-old girl, sustained injuries. A house was also burned down. 3 fatalities.
