On 7 May 2026, in Bwar Aye Su village (Htantabin township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes using a helicopter to bomb Bwar Aye Su village five times around 1:00 pm. Khit Thit Media reported that the airstrike killed 4 boat workers and injured 4 people including a woman. Radio Free Asia reported that the airstrike killed 3 children, and 3 men and injured 5 people, and Narinjara News reported that the airstrike killed 6 people and injured 5 people. Fatalities coded as 4, using the lowest estimates. 4 fatalities.
