A terrorist military column was attacked with landmines in Paungde township, Bago Region, killing 2 soldiers, and the hard-hit military retaliated by burning down Thae Mae village, reducing 9 houses to ashes, Comrade Shadow, the military intelligence and information officer of Pyay District Battalion 1, told Khit Thit Media.

On May 11 at around 7:00 AM, a terrorist military column of 60 personnel from Light Infantry Battalion 10 based in Pauk Taw village, Paungde township, marched out for area clearance and patrol duties, during which revolutionary forces launched 7 landmine attacks between Thae Mae village and Phaung Aing village.
