Clashes continue to intensify between joint revolutionary forces and military council troops as the military reinforces with hundreds of vehicles and launches offensives into Kachin State and Sagaing Region, resulting in one military vehicle being destroyed by fire, according to KIA military sources.

Yesterday, May 11, at around 1:00 PM, an exchange of fire took place between military council troops and joint revolutionary forces on the road section between Htigyaing and Katha. A military vehicle returning after delivering rations to Htigyaing caught fire and was destroyed following an ambush by revolutionary forces.
