Four junta soldiers were killed and four officers, including a tactical commander, were injured during fighting in Hakha Township, Chin State, according to the Chin Defence Force – Hakha (CDF – Hakha).

The junta column, which had been advancing along the Falam-Hakha road since April 26—the day after Falam Town was captured—arrived at Chuncung Village in Hakha Township yesterday morning (May 14).

CDF – Hakha attacked a welcoming force led by a tactical commander from the Hakha-based 266th Light Infantry Battalion that had come to meet the advancing column yesterday, resulting in the casualties.
