In the center of the city of Modena in Italy on Saturday, a car driver hit about ten people at high speed and was detained.

Details : After he hit about ten pedestrians on the street with his car, the man reportedly got out of the car and stabbed a passerby who tried to stop him.
Four or five people chased and helped detain the driver and handed him over to law enforcement.
Two of the injured people are in serious condition – a 55-year-old woman and a 55-year-old man. The woman lost both her legs.
The 31-year-old criminal is known to be Salim El Kudri, who has a higher education in economics. The man was born in the province of Bergamo, but lives in Modena.
"What happened today in Modena, where a man hit several pedestrians and then reportedly stabbed a passerby, is extremely serious. I express my solidarity with the injured and their families. I also thank the citizens who bravely intervened to stop the criminal and the law enforcement agencies for their intervention," Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said on social media.
