An explosion occurred in Ban Mai Faad, Kayu Khala Subdistrict, Waeng District, Narathiwat Province. Two officers were injured and one killed, along with two civilians. The attackers ambushed a convoy of officers from the 1106th Ranger Company on Highway 4057 in Ban Mai Faad, Kayu Khala Subdistrict, Waeng District, Narathiwat Province. The explosion caused the vehicle to overturn and sustain heavy damage, with debris scattered throughout the area. Initially, five people were reported injured: three officers and two civilians.
