Six Security Forces (SFs) personnel were killed when unidentified militants ambushed a convoy of more than 20 trailer trucks carrying minerals reportedly gold in the Sheikh Wasil area near Noshki in Mastung District of Balochistan on May 13, reports Zrumbesh. A large number of attackers used rockets and other heavy weapons to target both the vehicles and their military escort. Six SF personnel providing protection to the convoy were killed, and multiple trucks were destroyed. No immediate official claim of responsibility had been issued at the time of reporting.
