Security Forces (SFs) on May 13 neutralised seven terrorists while five SF personnel, including an Army Major, were killed during a sanitisation operation in Nosham area of Barkhan District in Balochistan, reports Geo TV. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Army and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel commenced a sanitisation operation in Nosham area on the morning of May 13 to eliminate terrorists. During the operation, a group of terrorists was located and engaged by troops, it said, adding that seven terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire. Weapons, ammunition and explosives were also recovered from the killed terrorists. However, during intense fire exchange, five SF personnel were killed.
