The Baloch insurgents carried out a attack on the Gorrak Dam project, opening fire on a project vehicle after it attempted to flee a checkpoint on Basima Road in the Killi Sarawan area of Kharan District in Balochistan on May 12, reports Zrumbesh. The insurgents set up a checkpoint on Basima Road and began stopping and checking vehicles in the area. When a vehicle belonging to the under-construction Gorrak Dam project attempted to flee the checkpoint, fighters opened fire on it. Three non-local individuals were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the attack. No casualties have been reported so far.
