On May 11, Police arrested two persons, identified as Faisal Ahmad Bhat and Faisal Ahmad Guroo, during a naka check at Baba Dem area of Srinagar District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), along with arms, ammunition and Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) posters, Daily Excelsior. An official said that a police team intercepted the duo on a bike during routine checking. During the search, police recovered one pistol, three magazines, 21 live rounds, two mobile phones and 10 LeT posters from their possession. A case FIR No. 26/2025 under relevant sections of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA) and Arms Act has been registered, and further investigation has been taken up.
