On May 10, two teenagers aged 16 and 18 were killed in a targeted gang-related shooting inside an underground parking lot in the Newton neighbourhood of Surrey city in British Columbia, Canada, reports The Tribune. The Surrey Police Service (SPS) said the incident occurred around 10 pm in the 7000-block of 133B Street near 70 Avenue, where both victims were found with gunshot wounds and later declared dead despite medical assistance. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken over the probe, confirming the double murder is linked to ongoing gang conflict in the region. Investigators also recovered a burned vehicle near Enver Creek School, suspected to be connected to the case. No arrests have been made so far. Authorities have appealed for public assistance.
